Golf players of all skill levels are invited to join NAU Yuma alumni for a weekend of food, fun and fundraising to support NAU scholarships. The True Blue NAU Yuma Alumni Reception kicks off the two-day event at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at The Patio Restaurant & Bar at The Hills, 1245 W. Desert Hills Drive in Yuma. The Golf Classic, a four-person, two-drive quota scramble tournament, will tee off at 8 a.m. Nov. 18 at the Desert Hills Golf Course.
Entries for the golf tournament must be received by Nov. 15. RSVP for the Friday night alumni reception or download golf tournament registration and payment information.
“The Friday night event is not just for golfers,” said Harry Hengl, president of the Yuma chapter of the NAU Alumni Association. “It’s for all NAU alumni and any other interested persons who would like to attend. Over the years, we have raised several hundred thousand dollars for scholarships for Yuma students to attend NAU.”
