The Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority, the Arizona Department of Transportation and Northern Arizona University are promoting an interactive web site to find ride-share partners.
The system is available to anyone who can log on at www.ShareTheRide.com for a free and confidential match list. The list will feature interactive maps showing approximate locations of potential ride share partners along with their basic contact information.
The carpool site will link from the Parking Services web site at www.nau.edu/parking.
An e-mail system within the site allows participants to contact their potential carpool partners directly.
