Wall Aquatic Center announces spring classes

The Wall Aquatic Center has scheduled its spring youth swim lessons, as well as CPR and Lifeguard classes.

Youth Swimming Lessons
Registration begins on March 3 for the center’s Learn-to-Swim program, offered for youth age 3-14. Classes are designed for independent children who are comfortable in the water without a parental presence.

Session 1: March 24 – April 9
Session 2: April 14 – 30

CPR and Lifeguard Classes

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
This course teaches professional rescuers the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies; including the use of an automated external defibrillator, adult/child/infant CPR, rescue breathing, obstructed airway management, two-rescuer CPR, use of resuscitation masks and bag-valve mask resuscitators. Class dates: March 1 and April 12.

Adult CPR/AED
This course teaches how to recognize and respond to adult cardiac and breathing emergencies and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Class dates: April 16
