Veterans Day is an important time for Andrew Esmeier, a first-year student at NAU, who recognizes not all fellow combat veterans will have the chance to earn a college degree.
NAU has programs in place to support veterans who want to succeed in college; for Esmeier, that means participating in NAU’s transitional resiliency course for veterans and working at the Veteran Success Center.
