Upgraded LOUIE Online to launch Oct. 23; training available

An upgraded version of the Lumberjack Online University Information Environment, more commonly called “LOUIE Online,” will be launched Oct. 23 with the latest features from Oracle/PeopleSoft.

As part of the upgrade process, LOUIE Online will be unavailable from Oct. 18-22. Information about the scheduled downtime will be published in the Oct. 11 issue of Inside NAU.

To help the campus community with the transition, the project team is offering a course demonstrating the system’s new functionality.

The class, “LOUIE Upgrade—What’s Coming in October?,” is available to all faculty, staff and students. View a schedule and register online.

Project team members are available to present an overview to any department or organization. E-mailSue.Stefanko@nau.edu to schedule a presentation.

Students, faculty and staff use the LOUIE system for tasks ranging from enrolling in classes and recording grades to employee timekeeping and receiving compensation.

Information about the upgrade project is available at www.nau.edu/louieproject.
