Tribal business development and the gamble of casinos

Business successes, development challenges and the risk of casinos as tribal enterprises will be discussed during the next installment of the Summer Seminar Series.

Wayne Fox, assistant dean of The W.A. Franke College of Business, and Levi Esquerra, program director for NAU’s Center for American Indian Economic Development, will elucidate the unique aspects of more than 22 federally-recognized tribal nations, reservations and communities.

The discussion, titled “The Gamble of Casinos for the Native American Economy,” is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at NAU’s Native American Cultural Center.
