Thinking about retirement?

The Arizona State Retirement System will be conducting educational meetings in Flagstaff on Aug. 28 and 29, and in cities statewide throughout the fall.

Those within one year of retiring can attend the group meeting on at 9 a.m. Aug. 28 in the FUSD board room, 3285 E. Sparrow Ave., to learn about potential monthly benefits and options, retirement paperwork, health insurance and return-to-work options.

All members are invited to attend the Aug. 29 seminar meeting at 9 a.m. in the Flagstaff City Council Chambers, 211 W. Aspen Ave., to learn about the ASRS, benefits, member responsibilities, retirement benefit calculations, wills and trusts and Social Security benefits.

A service purchase meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 29 for members to learn about the service purchase process, types of service purchase, cost calculations and payment options.
