The International Conference on Teaching Statistics, being held for the first time in the United States and hosted by Northern Arizona University, begins Sunday, July 13, at the High Country Conference Center.
The conference opens with a 6 p.m. ceremony in Prochnow Auditorium, followed by a reception on the Historic North Quad. Provost Laura Huenneke will welcome more than 500 attendees, about half visiting internationally from 41 countries.

Nationally recognized scientist and author David S. Wilcove will speak on Monday, Sept. 16, as part of the 12th biennial Conference of Science and Management on the Colorado Plateau. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Prochnow Auditorium on the campus of Northern Arizona University.
