Summer parking regulations

With fewer cars on campus, NAU has parking permit exceptions during the summer. Employee permit holders may park in any employee, commuter or residential lot. Parking garage permit holders may park in their permit designated parking garage, any employee, residential or commuter lot.

Summer also is when parking lot maintenance is done. This summer the following lots will be temporarily closed while being maintained: P3, 9, 11, 13, 16A, 32A, 32B, 45, 52, 60, and 66A. (See the campus map.) In addition, all lots will be closed for a short time to allow for restriping. Information regarding closures will be sent to all building managers on a weekly basis.

Abandoned bike collection

With summer starting and many students gone until August, NAU facility services will collect bikes that have been abandoned throughout campus. Students, staff, faculty or anyone else on campus who has a bike need to put a green bike label on their bikes immediately to ensure they do not get picked up.

People can pick up labels for at the University Union Info Desk. Contact Megan Proctor or the grounds department in Facilities (523-6659) with any questions.
