- Peter Lomong was named the Big Sky cross country athlete of the week following his win at the George Kyte invitational on Sept. 1 in Flagstaff, with a time of 22:59.3. This is the second year in a row Lomong has finished first at the event.
- Heather Foster, a criminology and criminal justice graduate student, was recognized by ProQuest as being listed in their 25 Most-Accessed Dissertations and Theses in July 2018. Foster’s thesis covers the topic of video games and how they may be normalizing violence.
