  • The Northern Arizona University Sales Team of Taryn Lee, senior in hotel and restaurant management (HRM); Matt Hipps, junior in marketing; Connor Jones, junior in finance; Robert Schmitz, sophomore in finance; and Shelby Varner, senior in HRM are finalists for the AT&T Sales Competition. The competition is a national stage for a competitive professional selling simulation and provides opportunities for students to network.
  • First-year physician’s assistant student Dilia Stevens was featured in the Univision segment, “Without jobs or access to health: undocumented Latinos are the most vulnerable to the pandemic.” The story reports on how COVID-19 is effecting the immigrant population in Phoenix.
  • Senior punter DJ Arson was named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, an award given to the nation’s top scholar-athlete by the National Football Foundation. The Campbell Trophy, now celebrating its 31st year, honors a combination of academic success, on-field performance and leadership within the community.
