After a nearly 30-year hiatus, The Lumberjack student newspaper is again publishing monthly summer issues, featuring lengthier investigative campus and community news stories, as well as an Outdoors section and reports on the Arizona Cardinals football team training camp at NAU.
Breaking news will continue to be published on the paper’s affiliate website, NorthernArizonaNews.com.
This summer’s first issue of The Lumberjack hit the stands on June 7. Two more issues will be published—on July 5 and Aug. 2—and then distributed at locations around campus and in the community.
Editor-in-chief Kevin Bertram, journalism major, called the summer edition an exciting direction for The Lumberjack. “I encourage everyone to pick up a copy and let us know what you think.”
