  • Nick Lund, retired executive director at NAU-Yuma, with co-authors Silvia Ramirez, Leila Flores-Torres, and Peter Kranz at the University of Texas-Pan American, had their article, “Using Axeline’s Eight Principles of Play Therapy with Mexican-American Children,” published in the December issue of the Journal of Instructional Psychology.
  • Marilyn McDonald, coordinator in NAU’s School of Hotel & Restaurant Management, made a plenary session presentation to the national conference of the Dude Ranchers’ Association last month in Cody, Wyo. Her co-presenter for “Lodging Industry Trends: Picking and Choosing What Works for Your Dude Ranch,” was chef James Morgan. Author credit shared with Gary Vallen, professor in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
