What’s better than the satisfaction you get from helping make our community a prettier place? Getting free pizza afterward.
Green NAU and Hope Construction are teaming up with The Mayor and Citizen Pie to clean up trash in the Southside neighborhood of Flagstaff—and offering pizza as a reward. The community is encouraged to participate by helping clean up the surrounding neighborhoods from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, then join in for the fun afterward. Those interested will meet in the lot next to The Mayor on S. San Francisco Street.
Several fraternities, sororities and clubs from NAU will be participating in this event, and the city has volunteered to remove all trash at the end.
Green NAU will provide participants special garbage and recycling bags as well as rubber gloves. Once the bags are filled and returned to the designated dumpsters, free pizza will be provided and an after party will be held at The Mayor.
