Sophos anti-virus for stand-alone home/personal computers will be automatically upgraded to version 9.5 on Jan. 4. The upgrade will occur during the Sophos auto-update process. Users who do not run auto-updates will need to run the update process manually.
During the upgrade, users may see a brief alert indicating they do not have virus protection.
