Showcase to highlight public humanities

Students and faculty invite the public to a showcase spotlighting how humanities enhance contemporary public life at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in the Native American Cultural Center on the NAU campus.

“Humanities in Action,” will feature interactive exhibits, discussions and short presentations on various topics including the history of NAU’s buildings, immersive learning through videogames and the culture of writing. Participants will demonstrate a variety of humanities approaches to current events, the arts and the conditions that resonate with individuals and communities in the 21st century.

The event is free and open to the public. Contact Alexandra Carpino at 928-523-8801 or Alexandra.Carpino@nau.edu with questions.
