Sealed with a kiss: Sorority sends thanks to troops

Members of the NAU chapter of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women recently hosted a “Campus Kisses for the Troops” event to collect “kisses” and messages of support for American troops overseas.

Members invited students to participate by writing messages of support on postcards that were then sealed with a lipstick kiss. For every postcard collected, Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazines, along with Maybelline New York, donated $1 to the USO, which is sending the cards to soldiers in care packages.

Watch to video at right to see how the group collected more than 4,500 cards kissed at the two-hour event on Oct. 17.
