The 2006 Governor’s Rural Development Conference will be on the Northern Arizona University campus Aug 16-18.
Gov. Janet Napolitano is scheduled to attend the closing luncheon on Friday. Aug 18. Northern Arizona University President John Haeger will be included among speakers at the luncheon.
This is the first time the conference has been held in Flagstaff.
The majority of the conference will be held at NAU’s du Bois Center with one session at the College of Business Administration. A few off-campus sessions are scheduled as well.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Partnering in Arizona ~ Diversifying & Sustaining Your Community.”
