NAU President John Haeger donned his chef’s apron to serve burgers and hotdogs at his annual picnic Aug. 29 during Welcome Back Week.
NAU administrators, faculty and staff joined the president to welcome students back to campus, and Alumni Relations staff kept the crowd cool with free ice cream.
The celebration also included a fierce competition between two teams in the dunk tanks as the administrators took on athletics staff and coaches to see who would earn the most dips.
