Northern Arizona University’s Native Americans United student organization is hosting the NAU Contest Powwow on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11, in the Walkup Skydome.
The event features gourd dancing at 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, April 11. Grand entry is at 7 p.m. Friday and 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday.
Attendees also can enjoy a drum contest arts and crafts vendors and more.
General admission is $7 per day or $10 for both days; Free admission for NAU students with ID. Kids 5 and younger are free.
