Obituary: Rikki Rachele Williams Kitchen, education major

Rikki Rachele Williams Kitchen, an online student seeking a degree in early childhood education, died April 15, 2011. She was 30. Mrs. Kitchen was born May 18, 1980, in Show Low, Ariz. She was raised in Taylor, Ariz., and had recently moved back there after living in Kanab, Utah, where she met and married Michael Kitchen.

Diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 3 years old, Mrs. Kitchen had said her children were her greatest joy and accomplishment. She loved children and was finishing her education to become a teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Anthony Kitchen; two children, Kahlan Rachele and Kevin Michael; mother and step-father, Eliza and Jim Robinson of Kanab; father Mark Williams (LaDawn) of Snowflake; Grandparents, Stella and Joe Williams of Snowflake; brother and sisters: Candon and Tami Williams of Fredonia; Amanda and Jake Ramsay of Kanab; Tiffany and Josh Cluff of Fredonia; and Casey Robinson of Kanab. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence Loye Willis and Ione Rogers Willis.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the relief society room at the Love Lake Chapel in Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Love Lake Chapel in Taylor.

Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements. An account has been set up at National Bank to help with expenses.
