Although most people on campus are focused on the end of the spring semester, the Office of New Student Programs is already planning for Welcome Weekend, Aug. 24-27, when students will return to the Flagstaff campus.
Welcome Weekend will include a number of events to introduce new students to the NAU campus and welcome back returning students. About 300 faculty, staff and student volunteer “Welcome Jacks” are needed to assist with a variety of activities, including helping students move into their residence halls, greeting new arrivals at campus entrances, helping people find parking, staffing large scale events and more.
Volunteer opportunities will be scheduled in two-hour shifts.
