New service allows students to share account info with parents

Students now have the ability to authorize their parents or guardians to have viewing access to their student account or to allow them to make online payments.

The new online service, called Guardian Access, is accessible from the Student Center in LOUIE.

While Guardian Access does not override FERPA regulations, it does give students the option of granting or revoking access privileges to others.

The Office of Parent Services web site has an online Guardian Access tutorial, as well as a direct link to sign in to the service.
