Gene Moan, professor of educational psychology, has been named the new Faculty Ombudsman.
The Faculty Ombuds Program provides informal and confidential conflict resolution options to members of NAU’s faculty.
Daniel Kain, vice provost for Academic Personnel, said Moan brings a “rich counseling background and long-term experience at NAU to this important role and will be a tremendous resource for our faculty.”
Moan, who served as the interim ombudsman for the past year, has begun his three-year, half-time assignment.
