Kathleen Ann Prell, an education major at NAU-Yuma, died Jan. 31, 2008, in Tucson. She was 47.
Born Sept. 13, 1960, to John H. Lee Jr. and Margaret (Owan) Lee in Williston, N.D., Ms. Prell graduated from Williston Senior High School in 1978. Over the last few years she went back to school and graduated with an AA degree from Arizona Western College in May, 2007.
She was attending NAU-Yuma, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education.
Ms. Prell was involved in many community activities, including Special Olympics. She also was an active member of Oasis Church in Yuma.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Chantel and Chandra, 16; her mother, Margaret Lee of Williston, ND; her sisters, Maureen Lee-Robinson and Maxine Lee of Liberty Hill, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
