NAU recognized as model of efficiency

NAU's Extended Campuses Information Technology Solutions team

Northern Arizona University is one of eight colleges and universities recognized by University Business magazine’s Models of Efficiency program, which is sponsored by Higher One, a solutions provider for higher education business office operations.

The Models of Efficiency program recognizes innovative approaches for streamlining higher education operations through improvements in technology or business processes. The latest honorees are featured in the July/August issue of University Business.

Northern Arizona University was honored for improving the processes of its NAU-Extended Campuses Software Development Team, increasing developer output and enabling the institution to keep pace with growing enrollment, as well as meet demand for new and better student services, course management, prospect tracking and staff support.

NAU was recognized for its Task Management Environment, a web application that allows projects to be broken down into smaller parts, and Software Migration Process, which merges and deploys software changes, both deemed as innovative, replicable solutions to higher education challenges.
