Northern Arizona University will conduct normal operations today and campus is open. Students who are unable to get to campus must contact their instructors. Employees who are unable to get to campus must contact their supervisors or follow normal departmental procedures to provide notification of an absence.

During inclement weather, the university may remain open for normal business, schedule a delayed start, cancel classes or cancel operations except for essential services on the Flagstaff campus.

The announcement generally is made before 6 a.m., with the determination to cancel evening classes made between 3 and 4 p.m.

The university will send out an NAU Alert text message and email in the event that classes or university operations are on a delayed start or canceled.

Students, faculty and staff also are notified of changes to operations through FacebookTwitter, the NAU home pageMyNAU, local media and the NAU Now Line.
