The Arizona Department of Transportation released the new license plate design for Northern Arizona University.
The plate design was a two-year process developed in-house by the NAU marketing graphic design team and features a blue background with the outline of the axe bordering the plate numbers. The team developed more than 50 concepts to share with campus stakeholders before narrowing it down to the selected design. They also collaborated with ADOT and Arizona law enforcement to ensure the plate met design standards and readability by law enforcement.
Plates can be ordered through the ADOT website, and a portion of sales will support student scholarships at NAU.
