NAU is stepping up its service to those who have served their country by enhancing support for them through the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success. The center, which will focus on comprehensive recruitment, retention, graduation and career support, opens Aug. 30.
Andrew Griffin, director of NAU Veterans Affairs, said he anticipates the center will provide a one-stop shop for veteran students’ needs.
“Our goal is to provide one place where veterans can go to find everything they require to succeed at NAU,” Griffin said. “We want to help these individuals determine and navigate their academic path, see them through to graduation and their return to the workforce.”
