Join NAU Theater for Shakespeare’s Macbeth next month on the Northern Arizona University campus.

The classic tragedy—filled with greed, corruption, murder and the supernatural—will run at 8 p.m. March 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12 and at 2 p.m. March 7 in the Clifford E. White Theater.

NAU is staging the drama in a contemporary twist that creates an apocalyptic setting of revenge, ambition and downfall related to an environmental catastrophe.

The production is directed by theater professor Mac Groves and features a cast and crew of NAU students and alumni. Students performing in the show include Jessica Hennessy as Lady Macbeth, Geoff Ramler as Macduff, Tony Moschetti as Duncan and alumnus Dylan Uremovich as Macbeth.

NAU Student Activities Council funding has reduced ticket prices for students. Tickets are $2 for NAU students, $11 for seniors and NAU faculty and staff, and $12 for general admission.  For tickets, call (928) 523-5661.
