Spoken word poet and disability advocate LeDerick Horne will bring his words of inspiration to NAU next week.
Horne will present “Identity and Opportunity: An Evening of Poetry and Perspective” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the Cline Library Assembly Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Horne was diagnosed as neurologically impaired in the third grade and has since become a playwright, entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
