first 250 students to attend free


A donation from a former NAU basketball player has been made to purchase 250 tickets for NAU students to attend the Big Sky Tournament game Saturday night at the Rolle Activity Center.

The first 250 students to show up Saturday for the NAU men’s quarterfinal game against Montana State will get in free. Students must show their student ID at the table inside Rolle Activity Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Students who already purchased tickets and arrive in the first 250 students will receive refunds at the entrance.

The Lumberjack men’s basketball team has clinched the No. 4 seed in the Big Sky Tournament and will host a quarterfinal game against Montana State at 6:30 p.m. March 5 in Rolle Activity Center.

Ticket prices will be $15 for a reserved seat and $50 for courtside seats. Season ticket holder prices will be $12 for a reserved seat and $40 for the courtside. Students can purchase tickets for $10.

Season ticket holders can secure their tickets by calling the NAU Athletics department at (928) 523-5353. Students and the general public can purchase seats at the Central Ticket Office in the University Union, (928) 523-5661, or online at nau.ticketforce.com.

NAU is in the Big Sky for the second consecutive season, making this the university’s 20th Big Sky Championship appearance in school history. It is the 10th appearance in 12 years under head coach Mike Adras.
