Northern Arizona University’s football team will face New Mexico Highlands in its home opener Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Skydome.
The Lumberjacks are off to a 1-1 start, earning their first win last week against Abilene Christian.
Tailgating and the Lumberjack FanFest will begin three hours prior to each home game kickoff. FanFest is free and open until game time in parking lot 66 south of the Skydome and offers fun for families including games, giveaways, face painting and photo opportunities with Louie the Lumberjack.
Free game day parking will be available in lot 62. Parking also is available in the San Francisco Parking Garage for $10. Free shuttle service from the lot and garage will begin three hours prior to each home game and will end one hour after the game ends. The annual Running of the Freshmen will begin at 3:45 p.m. followed by a 4 p.m. kickoff. Tickets are available through NAU’s Central Ticket Office at (928) 523-5661.
