Light up your holiday season with the traditional NAU tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, on north campus near the large pine tree and Prochnow Auditorium.
Members of NAU’s Mortar Board, a national senior honor society, will lead the ceremony and serve hot chocolate and cookies. The students also will be reading and giving out books to children in attendance as part of the organization’s national service project, Reading is Leading.
The sparkle of the season will continue at dusk on Saturday, Dec. 6, when members of the Mortar Board will light luminarias stretching from north to south campus.
