KNAU’s “Edge of the Rez” series received a national audience Tuesday when NPR aired a segment from the award-winning series.
It is the third time National Public Radio has picked up one of KNAU’s “Edge of the Rez” segments.
On Tuesday’s segment, KNAU reporter Laurel Morales profiles a Navajo student who discusses the special challenges the student and her family face while earning a college degree. Morales also discusses NAU’s commitment to Native students.
