LGBTQ activist Janet Mock speaking as part of NAU Qmmunity Forum

Join the Northern Arizona University Office of Inclusion: Multicultural & LGBTQIA as they welcome Janet Mock and others as guests at the NAU Qmmunity Forum. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Dubois South Union as part of Coming Out Week festivities.

Discussions will be held throughout the day that focus on issues that impact the LGBTQIA community in higher education. Through workshops, networking and a lunch Q&A with Mock, those in attendance will receive hands-on learning and engagement to better provide a community of support on campus and beyond.

Mock is a New York Times-bestselling author, writer, director, producer and speaker. She made her debut in 2014 following the release of her first biography, “Redefining Realness,” and has since grown to be a leading voice in the transgender community across the nation.

Registration for the event can be found on the website.
