  • Junior Chiara Tomasetti became the sixth player in conference history to be named Big Sky Women’s Tennis Player of the Week four times in one season. The award made her one of five players to earn seven or more career awards. After another undefeated weekend, Tomasetti moved up eight spots in the Oracle/ITA Division I Women’s Rankings to No. 108.
  • Student-run KJACK radio won a nationwide Broadcast Education Association (BEA) competition and was named BEA Signature Radio Station. The award will be given in Las Vegas during the National Association of Broadcasting/Broadcast Education Association convention. A blind review panel of media educators and industry professionals judged submissions on content, creativity and execution. The KJACK student team comprises 14 managers and 67 staff. Station manager Cassidy Zimarik played a key role in the team’s successful application submission.
