  • Freshman distance runner Corey Gorgas won the 2020 Pan Am Cross Country Championships. He finished the 8K distance with a time of 27:15. Gorgas earned his spot on the U20 Team USTF after winning the junior men’s title with a time of 25:44.8 at the USATF Cross Country Championships.
  • The Northern Arizona University Model United Nations team won awards at the Future We Want Model United Nations conference. Students Katrina Tselentis and Rachel Lemons represented Kuwait and took home honorable mention. Meg Ruff and Cassie Lockett represented Peru and won the highest award, Best Delegate.
  • Senior Tori Mueller was awarded the Arizona Association for the Education of Young Children’s 2019 Rhian Evans Allvin and Joshua J. Allen Scholarship. This award acknowledges outstanding service of early childhood professionals and helps fund further college education. Mueller will share some of her experiences at the March 2020 Arizona Early Childhood conference.
