  • Doctoral student James Windsor was selected to participate in Cloud Academy II held at the University of St. Andrews in France. This intensive weeklong school focuses on the study of clouds, planets and other planetary systems. Unfortunately, the academy was canceled this year due to COVID-19.
  • Doctoral student Will Oldroyd competed in the southwest regional 3 Minute Research Presentation competition in New Mexico. His presentation was titled, “Searching for Planet X.”
  • Senior tennis player Chiara Tomasetti completed her NAU career with a program record of 66 singles wins (dual matches only) and the best dual match winning percentage of .880. She also is nationally ranked No. 44 and helped the Lumberjacks to the NCAA Tournament after a two-decade-long drought.
  • Accepted published an interview with nursing student Kristen Salisbury on its blog. She shares her experience of navigating life as a student, pharmacy technician and entrepreneur.
