  • School of Music students performed at the 20th Varna International Music Academy in Varna, Bulgaria. Junior choral education major Anne Anderson performed in the chorus and as the Novice in Giacomo Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” and assisted backstage with anything from stage managing to helping with makeup and wardrobe. Senior vocal performance major Ye Lynn Han performed the role of Ferrando in W.A. Mozart’s “Così fan tutte.”
  • The men’s cross country team took first place for the 22nd week in a row in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Preseason Regional Rankings. The women’s cross country team has been projected as the sixth best team in the region.
  • For the 22nd consecutive week, men’s cross country coaches have been ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division I Men’s Cross Country Preseason Nation Coaches’ Poll. Out of 11 possible votes for first place, NAU’s coaching staff received 10.
