  • International affairs and political science alumna Rachael Costello (2018) was awarded a Fulbright Grant to pursue a master’s degree in conflict resolution and mediation at Tel Aviv University in Israel. Costello’s work will focus on the inclusion of women in mediation as a means to respond effectively to domestic and international security threats, improving the longevity of peace agreements and advancing the common interests of humanity.   • The Math Jack Tutors were selected as Northern Arizona University’s Student Employee Team of the Year. The program, run by the Lumberjack Mathematics Center, employs more than 70 tutors who serve more than 6,000 students annually. The award recognizes the outstanding job the tutors do to support NAU students and contribute to student success.
