  • Track and field team member Matilde Roe was named Big Sky Athlete of the Week after taking first place in the women’s javelin at the Sun Angel Classic. On her second attempt, she reached a mark of 48.86 meters. The event was Roe’s first time competing in the javelin throw, and the Athlete of the Week award is the first of her career.
  • Tennis player Hanneke Lodewijks was named Big Sky Player of the Week for the first time this season and fourth time in her career. Lodewijks went 2-0 in doubles and singles against Weber State and Southern Utah and secured the school record of 54 victories in career doubles.
  • Senior Lucas Taylor was named Big Sky Tennis Player of the Week for the first time this season and fourth of his career. During the week in singles, Taylor was able to win all three of his matches in straight sets. His wins against Weber State and Eastern Washington helped clinch the wins for NAU. In Big Sky play, Taylor is 7-2 in singles and 5-0 in doubles.
