  • Michael Vincent, dean of the College of Arts and Letters, is the 2015 recipient of the Juliana Yoder Friend of the Humanities Award. The Arizona humanities award recognizes those who have made a lasting contribution to the humanities in their communities. During his 35-year career, Vincent has introduced scholars and community members to the beauty and richness of 17th century French literature and culture, which is his area of focus.
  • NAU recently received accolades for its online programs. The university ranks 16th among the nation’s best online bachelor’s degrees in sociology, according to TheBestSchools.org. NAU also made SuperScholar.org’s list for top online master’s programs in communication.
