  • Former visiting scholar Wenbin Dai, W. A. Franke College of Business and School of Hotel and Restaurant Management professor Allen Reich and son Joseph Reich recently had their research accepted to the US-China Cultural Exchange International Poster Fair. Their research, “Understanding and Minimizing Bias in the Measurement and Assessment of Qualitative Performance Criteria in Human Resource Departments in Chinese and United States Hotels: An exploratory study of practices of excellent firms” will be shown at Guangzhou University, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Xinlian College of Henan Normal University and the American Cultural Center in China.
  • College Choice ranked Northern Arizona University No. 5 on its list of the Best Master’s in Early Childhood Education. The ranking was based on the school’s academic reputation, student retention rates and the affordability of the program.
  • Stephen Palmer, associate dean of Health and Human Services, was one of three people named as Professors to Know in Schools with Online Bachelors in Health Science (BSHS) Programs in an article published by MedicalTechnologySchools.com. The article also featured Northern Arizona University as a top school with online Health Sciences Bachelor’s degree programs.

    School of Art senior lecturer Debra Edgerton recently had an article written about her in Watercolor Artist Magazine. In addition to featuring an array of watercolors, in the article Edgerton unveils painting techniques, why she became a painter and how to best tell stories through art.
