    Shelley Dennis

    Shelley Dennis, a graduate student in sustainability, was among 25 people selected as Fellows for the class of 2012 GreenFaith Fellowship Program. GreenFaith offers the only comprehensive education and training program in the U.S. that prepares lay and ordained leaders from diverse religious traditions for environmental leadership.

  • Michael Amundson, professor of history, is part of the University of Wyoming’s 1986-87 basketball team that is being inducted into the university’s Athletics Hall of Fame this year. Amundson and others from the “wildly popular” team are invited to an induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame’s 19th class Sept. 2 at the University of Wyoming Conference Center & Hilton Inn Ballroom in Laramie.
  • J. Judson “Jut” Wynne, doctoral candidate in biological science and research ecologist for the Colorado Plateau Research Station, was featured in National Speleological Society News this month. The five-page article explores Wynne’s scientific research that has taken him into Chile’s Atacama Desert and deep within caves of Rapa Nui and Belize. The article is available online.
