Drivers could be ticketed by the the city of Flagstaff police department if they park on the north side of Franklin Street, just south of South Beaver Elementary school.
The whole block is marked by a yellow curb which indicates it is a 15 minute loading zone, not a parking zone.
Drivers illegally parking on this block also should be aware that they are blocking access to a Flagstaff Unified School District bus stop. Although South Beaver Elementary school officially closed its doors last summer, it still serves as a bus stop for local schoolchildren. Blocked access forces schoolbuses to load and unload children in the middle of the street.
