Horizon Concert Series at NAU showcases global talents and music

The Horizons Concert Series, hosted by the School of Music, is back again this fall showcasing talents and music from across the globe.

From Russia with Love will kick off October’s events, showcasing the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 9, in Audrey Memorial Auditorium. Tickets required: $20 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and NAU employees, free for children and NAU students with ID.

Sonic Border, a multimedia presentation by Guillermo Galindo based on the Border Cantos exhibition at the San Jose Museum of Art will commence at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 27, in Ashurst Auditorium. The event is free, but tickets are required.

Hear solo-pianist Jeffrey Swann perform Faust I, music inspired by the disillusioned scholar Faust and his unholy pact with demon Mephistopheles, at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, in Ashurst Auditorium. Tickets required: $20 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and NAU employees, free for children and NAU students with ID.
