Hip Hop Appreciation Week returns to campus April 20-24.
Led by NAU Ethnic Studies program, the week showcases the various elements of hip hop through urban art demonstrations, panel discussions, brown bag talks, an MC showcase and a dance extravaganza. The week will culminate with a presentation at the Undergraduate Symposium.
Students in the Ethnic Studies courses “The Roots of Hip Hop” and “The Genius of Hip Hop” planned the week’s activities.
