NAU News is looking for outstanding students who are graduating in December to profile in its weekly newsletter, with the possibility of being featured at graduation.

We are looking for undergraduate students or graduate students who have excelled in some way, either in academics, contributions to NAU and the community, in overcoming great odds to get to college or finish a degree or in some other way. Students can come from the Flagstaff Mountain Campus, a branch or satellite campus or an online program, provided they are graduating in December.

Previous student profiles have included a returning veteran, a nontraditional student whose educational path was defined in part by her child with autism spectrum disorder and a first-generation student who completed his doctoral degree. New programs that are seeing their first graduates also may be submitted.

Staff and faculty who would like to submit a student’s name may fill out the Grad profiles form and send it to Heidi Toth at heidi.toth@nau.edu by Nov. 21. Call (928) 523-8737 with questions.
