Swim into summer with free lessons at Wall Aquatic Center

pool at WAC

April 5, 2019

This spring, Wall Aquatic Center (WAC) invites the Northern Arizona University and Flagstaff communities to participate in its third annual free swim session. Registration is open to children, adults and teens. The four-day session will be taught by NAU students as a part of their FIT 100 Water Safety Instructor Certification course. Classes will take place Monday and Wednesday evenings from April 22-May 1 at WAC (part of the Aquatic and Tennis Complex in building 86).

While a majority of courses are geared toward children, there are classes designed to accommodate a variety of skill levels. These include a parent/child class and a water basics class that teaches water safety. One course is designated for NAU students, faculty and staff.

A full schedule of swim courses can be found and registered for on the Aquatics Lessons and Programs web page. Questions can be directed to WAC staff by calling (928) 523-4509. Registration is open and spots are limited, so act fast before this popular offering is filled up.
